are many works I've derived complete satisfaction from.
And each time I see it anew, it is a whole new experience
for me again. Though I have created it, when I see it
afresh, I'm able to see it objectively and relate to it
in a new way - there are many such works. So each one
is complete in itself. From the first Venalinte Ozhivu
to others since - like Peruvazhiyile Kariyilakal, Uyirthezhunnelpu,
Maranam Durbalam - each is different in its own right;
and dear to me.
And the films too?
Yes; each one gives me a different experience each
time I watch it. Probably because they are all based
on great literary works. As Einstein has said in another
context; it is because I'm standing on the shoulders
of these men that I feel tall. So each time I view them
it is a great experience.
Okay, about your family; they are all in Trivandrum?
My only brother is in Palghat. He is a bank officer.
My wife is also a bank officer - Sheeba works in the
State Bank of Travancore.
You reside in Trivandrum?
Yes, I stay in Trivandrum.
How about your children?
I have two - Vishnu and Sivakami. Vishnu is in the
tenth. Sivakami is still a kid; she's in the first standard.
