The Matrix

Andy & Larry Wachowski 's directorial tour-de-force. At its deepest level, The Matrix ponders the question of human alienation, based as it was on an unrealistically hopeful view of human nature, the problem remains just the same: we are all slaves to a machine like system that sucks the very life out of us. This film is amongst my favourites. A remarkable story, good acting, great fight scenes and amazing special effects. This film has it all.
