Great Dictator

It's not the most perfect film ever, it in fact has plenty of rough spots... but it's one of my favorites of Charles Chaplin. It's fascinating to see how Chaplin's most daring movies unfortunately remain topical even so today.

"Modern Times" is still one of the most biting satires of the working class, and since fascism seems to reappear every once in a while, watching again the movie that ridiculed it forever may still be highly recommended.

One of the boldest movies ever made, and a highlight in Chaplin's career.
